My Story

A woman with short brown hair wearing a black ribbed shirt and leopard print pants sitting on a cream-colored sofa, writing in a notebook with a black pen, with curtains and a plant in the background.

For nearly 20 years, I worked in the events industry, doing all the ‘right’ things to build a successful career. It was a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where 12-hour days and seven-day work weeks were the norm. Alongside this, I was also navigating family life as a single parent to twins, juggling work, childcare and responsibility with very little time to rest or recharge.

I was passionate, driven, and committed to providing for my family, but somewhere along the way, my own health slipped to the bottom of the priority list. The constant deadlines, travel, long hours and emotional load of doing it all alone took their toll. I began to experience extreme fatigue, hormonal imbalances, brain fog, low mood, gut issues, and persistent exhaustion. There were times I genuinely thought this was just how life was going to feel and that eventually, my career and family life would start to suffer.

I visited my doctor multiple times and had blood tests to check my vitamin and hormone levels, which always came back “normal.” But I didn’t feel normal. I was prescribed antidepressants, even though I wasn’t depressed. I was burned out, depleted and running on empty. Deep down, I knew I couldn’t continue living this way.

That was the turning point.

I decided to take my health into my own hands. After trying restrictive diets and extreme routines that only made things worse and feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice online I chose study health and nutrition.

Slowly, I began making small, sustainable changes that worked alongside my real life as a working mum. I learned how to support my body instead of fighting it. Over time, my energy returned, my digestion improved, my hormones began to balance, and I finally felt like myself again confident, capable, and resilient.

Now, I help other women do the same.

I support busy women especially those navigating demanding careers, motherhood, and stressful life seasons to rebuild their energy, restore balance, and create sustainable wellbeing. So they can thrive in their work, care for their families, and feel strong, calm, and in control again without burning themselves out.
