My Story
For nearly 20 years, I worked in the events industry, doing all the “right” things to build a successful career. It was fast-paced, high-pressure, and relentless 12-hour days, seven-day work weeks, and constant deadlines. At the same time, I was raising twins as a single parent, juggling work, childcare, and family responsibilities with very little time to rest or recharge.
I was passionate, driven, and committed to providing for my family, but somewhere along the way, my own health slipped to the bottom of the priority list. The nonstop workload, travel, and emotional demands took their toll. I began experiencing extreme fatigue, brain fog, hormonal imbalance, low mood, gut issues, and persistent exhaustion. There were moments I genuinely thought this was just how life would always feel and I feared my career and family life would eventually suffer.
Blood tests and doctor visits always came back “normal,” but I didn’t feel normal. I was burned out, depleted, and running on empty. Deep down, I knew I couldn’t keep living this way. That was the turning point.
I decided to take my health into my own hands. After trying restrictive diets and extreme routines that only made things worse, I studied health, nutrition, and burnout recovery. Slowly, I made small, sustainable changes that worked with my real life as a busy, working mum. I learned how to support my body instead of fighting it. Over time, my energy returned, my digestion improved, my hormones began to balance, and I finally felt confident, capable, and resilient again.
Now, I help other women do the same.
